at Pisgah Forest Mastiffs is “For the Love
of the Breed".
The sacrifice, the
work, the expense, its all for the Mastiffs!
We couldn’t image life any other way.
We live in Pisgah
Forest located in the beautiful mountains of
Western NC and we bought our first Mastiff
Sparky 7 Years ago. Boy have we learned a
lot! Starting out in Mastiffs was difficult,
as there were no “Mentors” to guide us. We
have spent countless hours researching the
Internet, books, and talking to other
breeders.
We had the
opportunity to travel as far as the Bahamas
for seminars from some of the best teachers
that include, Dr. Carmen Bataglia, Myra
Savant Harris, Wendy Voldhart, Pat Hastings,
Ed and Pat Gilbert, to name a few.
We strive to do
right by our Mastiff Breed and uphold
honesty and integrity while doing so. If you

Every year in September Pisgah Forest and
Lakewood Mastiffs comes together to have a
BIG Mastiff party where we invite our
friends and people we have placed Mastiffs
with. Below are some photos from our
gatherings. We really get involved w/ the
people we place puppies with, here they are
sack racing, egg & spoon race, cutest dog
and owner contest and the human dog show. We
have a big cook out and live band, just a
little something to show our appreciation!
